Its a complaint thats been around for awhile among animation fans. It doesn't matter how much star power the current SD cast has, or if people know them from somewhere else, they're good at their jobs and people are familiar with them already voicing the characters. Not every celebrity is good at voice acting and the star power won't automatically make a movie better. Bravo was such a huge personality so the contrast between the more reserved 60s/70s characters and the “in-your-face” 90s style of Bravo war really cool I also want to credit Scopby Doo with anyone under 50 knowing who the Harlem Globetrotters even are. Making Wacky Races a Laff-a-Lympic sport but giving its' own movie! They'd probably go first and THEN the Laff-a-Lympics! I'd call the first movie called Action Quest, maybe they fight The Great Gazoo who cloned The Flintstones and the rest of Bedrock and turned it into a Westworld style theme park along with Shaggy giving birth to Tinker from Speed Buggy! That'd be a hilarious twist! Then, Animal Quest, where Hanna Barbera's animal characters are kidnapped and mind controlled by IDK, Dr Animo from Ben 10 and Ben makes a cameo joining the fight! Then, Space Quest, bringing in Space Ghost and the Herculoids, who both get their own solos before crossing over, fighting an even bigger threat. Maybe a Kids Next Door villain who's a kid wants to kill all adults and needs a macguffin to do it. And the story continues in a Kids Next Door movie where after every single adult dies, the child heroes from Cartoon Network/ Hanna Barbera shows (obviously, the KND, The Powerpuff Girls, Ben 10, Jonny Quest, maybe Zak Saturday) join forces, going up to space in a ship big enough to carry all of those characters to confront the villain. And THEN Future Quest, which would be a time travel movie which ends with Jabberjaw going to the future with one of Shaggy's descendants if you know who I'm talking about! I don't cuz I don't remember his name. In-between the crossovers, characters with the potential of a cinematic adventure like Jonny Quest, The Flintstones, Speed Buggy, Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels, The Jetsons, Hong Kong Phooey, Quick Draw McGraw or The Funky Phantom (wonder how he'd look in CGI) get their own movies and Hong Kong Phooey gets played by Eddie Murphy who was supposed to voice him in a live action movie that, thank God, got cancelled. While the more simple characters get short films like Yogi Bear with Justin Timberlake reprising his live action movie role as Boo Boo. So yeah, that's the general idea of how I'd make these movies.

The scooby doo batman crossover was my childhood. We had it on DVD and I would endlessly watch it as a kid. Edit: Also weird connection I have to Scooby Doo is that my mom went to school with Daphne's current VA Grey Griffin and still keep in touch through Facebook. Weird flex but I think it's cool.

Daphne hatred for Guy Fieri runs deep as long ago, on a lone birthday, the one thing she wanted more than anything in the world (at that time) was to go to Flavortown. The birthday came and went, with nary a frosted tip, goatee or flaming silk shirt in sight. She resents him for "ruining" her birthday, when in reality there is no actual place called Flavortown.

I've never really been super-into Scooby Doo, but these past couple weeks I've just been in a mood for it and I feel like I'm appreciating it in a new way. There's just something... comfy about it. It's like a warm blanket of nostalgia.

One of the creators of Inspector Gadget _was_ actually a writer on Dyno-Mutt, and the latter was basically the prototype for the former. Pop Arena goes into more detail about it (including a weird connection with Lupin the III).

not only did peter falk play columbo his entire life, but there's like 69 episodes all told and if you subtract the bad ones, that's a super strong legacy for a character with such relatively small presence on tv.

Your original run of Scooby Doo videos is what made me learn to truly appreciate good scooby doo episodes/movies. My girlfriend and I have bonded so many days and nights talking about the different facets to the characters, where they work and where they don't, how the dynamics could be used in new ways. It's been an honor hyper fixating with you.

I kinda love how Hannah-Barbera will pimp out the rights to scooby doo for all these different iterations. There's so much insanity between all the different versions and parodies that it's amazing. It still has heart but nobody puts it on a pedistal

I always love seeing you cover Scooby-Doo (mostly because that's how I found you and I'm a massive Scooby-Doo fan) and to be truthful. Guess Who is my favorite iteration, it just has such good comedy and makes me so happy. Classic Scooby-Doo just feels so under-rated after Mystery Inc. came out and seeing a return to it is so good.

I would just like to add, in the OK KO crossover, there was a brief, like, 3 second shot done in the Ed Edd n' Eddy animation style. It was completely random, served zero purpose, and funny as heck.

I love scooby doo too. For some reason, my Elementary school on rural Indiana would keep SD playing on a big screen tv (was a big deal in the 90’s) in the cafeteria. To be a kid watching Scooby Doo episodes for the first time, while eating square pizza, again… 😌

Man at least you're not counting the scooby doo comics cause, they have basically teamed up with every DC superhero to ever exist, I'm talking green lantern, shazam, captain atom, red tornado, even the god damn doom patrol, I hope a part two comes anytime and it's just comics/any other things you might have missed.

My friends and I binge watched most of the crossover episodes and films last year. My favorite hands down has to be the KISS crossover. Between the gang being hardcore fans and the Sailor Moon inspired transformation sequences, that was an awesome ride that I wouldn’t mind reliving! 🥰 Edit - that and the classic Don Knotts crossover is just brilliant 😂 Edit 2 - the last episode with David Cross and Gary Coleman - when I saw that, I thought I imagined that episode from my childhood. I can’t believe it’s real! 😂

I've proudly also seen every piece of Scooby media as I've had a lifelong obsession lol. The KISS movie is one of my favorites simply for the absolute fever dream level absurdity. The Globetrotter appearances were why I loved going to see the globetrotters every year and Phyllis Diller was a favorite comedian of mine. Can't forget the Simple Plan episode of What's New, Scooby Doo? since they did the theme song for that version. Out of the recent movies, the Courage movie combined two of my childhood favorites in such a fun way.
