Yeah, it seems they are good at stealing lesser known artists' work. Check out the track "Sexual Vocation", from Harlots season 1 OST by Rael Jones, and compare it to last final section of Bad Guy. But hey, they now even dare making videos about how "creative" they are. Shameless.

THEY are real artists and Billie is also ANTI POP, they use all musical genres, despite going against the mainstream, against what is popular, “more accessible” they have had this success = musical revolution a gem 💎 in an ocean of fake products Search here about David Gohl talking about the difference between POP industry and Billie Eilish.

@@rachaelburt1737 It's less about "industry" than it is about talent. These two are something that very few artists are: both respected professionally and successful commercially. What many people don't understand about certain individuals at the top of any creative profession is that they are fans too. They love their field -- which means admiring others who have ideas or ways of doing things that are different and interesting. Other artists don't make them feel jealous or competitive, they inspire them: to try new things, experiment with different techniques -- this is how artists grow and flourish. And it's not just musicians. You see professional chefs do the same thing. "Omg, did you add just a hint of nutmeg to that? That's great! What if you tried it with a little bit of cardamom instead?" "Oh, yeah! And then put some cream in the..". blah blah blah. You get the idea.

Bernard Finucane Yes, and it has been for some time now. Indie artists now days have the ability to make their own music at home for not much money, and self-release everything. In fact, many pro mixers, producers, etc. are even shifting to home studios because of this. The old model of paying tens of thousands of dollars for studio time is basically on the verge of obsolete, so studio owners have to be creative and have more to offer now if they’re gonna her work. My band HUE(s) produces and records all of our stuff in a garage home studio. Dumped a bit of money into sound treatment, good monitors, good preamps, etc... We’re totally self-sufficient. The only thing record labels and studios have now that indie artists don’t, is contacts. But that’s changing too.

Trey Atkins...Good points. What I mean is that Elvis and Whitney wrote hardly any of their songs. The fact Billie has more...already...is amazing. For Elvis, he wrote only about half a dozen (out of the hundreds he put on albums) and I don’t think Whitney wrote a single one. They were both essentially singing karaoke their whole career. @Beast Mode I think her voice is talent tho i'm not actually a fan of all her tunes because i think the vocal style she currently chooses is only properly spotlighted on certain tunes - i think if she changed the compositions she worked to and mixed up vocal styles, the talent in her voice would be more immediately obvious. That's why i prefer listening to jam sessions of a singer like her rather than gig footage as it's a more natural portrayal of the voice.

Teenage girl makes a globally successful album, and suddenly people realize how important producers are. Artists have always had help.

@@hux2000 - Totally. Not only did they produce it, they wrote all of it as well. They each bring something to the table. Neither of them would be complete without the other one. They are such a great team. You can tell by the terms she uses, and the references she uses that Billie knows her shit. She's so far from a teenage girl with a superstar producer. I've been a working drummer for 40 years, and i'm massively impressed by these 2.

Having raised 3 kids, every time I watch the two of them together I wish I could have sat at their parent's feet and learned the secret sauce of how they nurtured them to be so connected and loving. It's a blessing to watch. (And I really dig their music, too!)

4:52 She's right -- doubling/tripling vocal lines that precisely is no fucking joke. Props to these two for their craftsmanship and for shining a light on the process. They've clearly put the work in!

Kyle Sutton ok but the whole time watching i was like why would they just copy the note and paste it
@ksutton12074 жыл бұрын
Raghad They need to be separate performances. Copy/paste will just make the original vocal take louder. It’s the slight idiosyncrasies in each performance that makes it sound like multiple voices

Kyle Sutton oh now i understand, thanks for educating me.

Kyle Sutton Thank you for finally explaining this. I always thought that when the Beatles did this, it was just a copy of the original vocal.
