Thank you for writing that. I first thought it was "bayesiist" (from bayesian, as in "bayesian statistics"). Mind you, bayesian thinking is basically constantly updating with new data (when done properly), which would make a "bayesiist" akin to an empiricist, someone who mainly cares about the data. The only way that would be bad, is if the data is collected to uphold some bureaucracy. And in that case, they would also be "beigeist".

Back in the 70’s I was a van driver delivering ladies sanitary products to supermarkets in north of Scotland .
