When you think about it, Billy Idol has had quite a remarkable career. Chiseled good looks, iconic hair, and a unique voice & style that appealed to several different demographics. His style was very "punky" and his attitude was cocky enough to bring in the youth of the 1980's who were looking for "cool" artists, but yet his songs were accessible to all, which made Billy a pop idol for a nice stretch of time in the 80's & 90's. He's unique in every conceivable way, and no one looked or sounded like him during the roaring 80's, and that kind of talent has afforded the man right to tour and earn a living in the music world until he dies. 5 decades on, and Billy is still giving audiences what they want. Don't ever stop Billy --We Love the sneer!! 🤜🤛

could you tell me more? what was it like and what are somethings you'd like to change about todays generation? If you could elaborate id love that. Im a 15 year old and i always feel like ive missed out on the joys of being born in the late 1900's. Id just love to hear what it was like from someone who was actually there to experience it. ^^

@@kemi3883 - I can elaborate a bit... I experienced it from the side of being drug-free and for the most part a sound mental clarity (I didn't drink very much). When we would be on the dancefloor - we would dance so hard that there was not a dry stitch of clothing on us. Often times, a complete stranger would come press up against you while the music transitioned from a fast dance song to a ballad. We danced as a form of self-expression - not really caring about what other's thought. In the winter months - if you took a break from dancing and went outside to cool off - you could see "steam" rising off of your skin . Don't know why that thought came to mind - but I figured I'd share it with you :)
