My dad left me and my family when I was very little. He wasn't big on country music but I loved this song so he always sang it to me. Now that he's gone, it makes me sad when my best friend (he is a guy) sings it to me. He protects me as much as he can so it's like he's my father. My little brother moved to BC last year for work. This was the first song that came to mind when my mom joined my brother on the week long drive to BC. I miss waking up in the morning and the first thing I saw was my brother on his computer. I talk to him on the phone a lot during my walks home from, but it just doesn't feel the same as talking to him in person. I've gotten use to not seeing him in the morning, but the basement just isn't the same without my computer. I went to BC for a week earlier this year for a vacation and had a great time visiting my brother. I know full damn well he's doing great in BC, but I will forever miss seeing him when I walk out of my bedroom in the morning. My dad past in 2018 a couple months after I had moved out of the house. He always remind me to come see him and I always tried. Finally made time to spend a couple weeks at my parents and he ended up passing away 2 days after I was finally there. My father was my beat friend and I'll always miss him. When I head this song when it first came out while I was a Hannah Montana fan this song always reminded me of my dad and how he sees me growing up. It'd an amazing song and will always be a favorite
