I love how at 2:00, Billy subtly takes out the bullets from the gun without Joe Grant noticing.

It's entertaining, just not historically accurate. They did renew for a second season, I understand.

The only thing I didn't like of this opening is that... isn't Billy a guy with a sense of humor and joking all the time? This scene of him so serious was ok.

@Frano1893 Quite correct. It happened in Hargrove's Saloon in Fort Sumner, NM on Jan 10, 1880, not El Paso in1877 which would predate the Lincoln County War and any celebrity Billy was to acquire. There is at least one contemporary newspaper account of the incident, but with little detail. Joe Grant is, in fact, buried in the Post Cemetery in Fort Sumner, his marker attributing his death to Wm Bonney. There is detail about the shooting that differs greatly from this clip, and it must come from witnesses who spoke of it later if true. But this TV version is wrong from the date, to the location and probably the motivation and other detail. But hey, it's Hollywood.

@@LPLK_Kharn You should consider doing a search on this to learn more. There is a record of this incident, and it definitely did not happen as shown on this clip.
