Billye "Jack" Jackson

In 80's Billye Jackson was kickboxing World Champion K.I.C.K.
In July of 1981. less than a year after the Urquidez fight. Demetrius The Greek" Havanas was killed in a plane crash. Billye was devastated.
He continued to train, but without Demetrius to spur him on his heart wasn’t in it.Then in November WKKA offered him a shot at their World Lightweight title. He took it, he said: “To show’ The Greek' his work goes on”. Demetrius would have been proud of him because he took the title from Ferdinand Mac of Germany. Kickboxing was finally starting to pay off, but seven months later Billye was ready to retire. Jackson retired from kickboxing with a 22-2 record.
He focused on teaching, one of his students was Guy Mezger.
In March 1986, the WKA changed the result to "No-Contest", but as much as 6 years in the record of Benny Urquidez there was only one loss and this's loss was from this fighter.
