My tank is leaking on my 2005 325CI. I see that there is one strap holding it on on the passenger side. Im pretty sure there's more that that involved with removing that tank correct?

This is the ONLY video that shows MY setup. But how do I disconnect the fuel line to see if it's pumping? (I ran out of gas and it looks like my spark plugs are fouled with water.) I need to purge the water from the fuel line from the tank to the injector rail. I have no Torx wrench to remove the A/C Input Filter Assy to access the rear of the fuel rail where the line is connected. So I have to try to lift the entire rail to get gas/water to flow out. I have No Schrader Valve on the Injector Rail and can't see any place to disconnect the line to check for flow (yet). THIS VIDEO HELPED A LOT! I'll try searching "325i SULEV". Thanks!

Could you tell me what size thread is used to connect the fuel tank to the fuel line that goes to the fuel rail? This is at the driver’s side at the rear of the vehicle. I’m thinking about adding a check valve at this location to prevent pressure loss (suffering from hard cold start issues). Thanks a lot!

Do you have a cross section view diagram of the sulev tank? (A complete detailed diagram with specs)? Do you know what type of pump and filter are in that tank? I understand that there is a different fuel pump and filter compared to the M54. What is flow rate and pressure? Is that tanks pump pressure flow normal? Thanks. For your video.

Nah , just find a used fuel tank off an m54 , pop that bad boy in with a working fuel pump then you good

yes. you can retrofit the m3 feul pump/ tank. i just did it on my 325ci sulev. go to e46fanatics.com and search sulev conversion

Julio Artiga how many miles on your car? if its a Sulev its covered under sulev warranty for 15 years or 150k miles.

Monica Barbosa I did call BMW i had 150,125 miles on it and they couldn't help me. Kept giving me the run around. so i told them why was i never told of this issue ( dealership, BMW never sent me a letter about that is was an issue, it really upset me. ( note i never knew about this issue. so i had to buy a used tank somewhere else instead of spending $6k for a brand new tank + labor. I understand the car is old but i think as a company or dealership they should of sent letters to owners of these car. bad experience overall
