The reason the helo had an issue in the compound was because the downward rotor wash from the main rotor blades had no where to go like in practice where they practiced with fences surrounding the compound. That air was dissipated outward. On the mission the rotor wash went down then back up affecting the lift of the rotor blades. Ambient air temp had nothing to do with it.

It was alot of people notably in the CIA that pin pointed him. She even told the seals what floor he would be on and that there would be narrow staircases.
