Binding the Continuum Quilt

Beautiful quilt!! Love the replay. Thank you for taking us on the adventure. While I didn't just move, we have rearranged my sewing/home office and I'm still trying to get it arranged. I love that you are taking your time and thinking it through. I am trying to do the same but I totally get wanting it done and organized. I can't find anything right now. It can be tough to stay organized when rearranging! That is one reason it is taking me so long to get moved into that space. I really want to do it once and not have to worry about doing it again.

Beautiful quilt Ian. Love the colors!!!!! I also 100% agree with doing what you want with your space. I currently live in my living room crafting, childcare, watching, shows, work, even eating all happens in my living room.

This is a beautiful quilt. Thank you for taking us along on the ride :D The rainbow binding is such an excellent idea. Done is always better then perfect -- I don't let the "Quilt Police" see my quilting -- only people who appreciate the time and effort that is needed to make a quilt. I do have to have people who select the colours for my quilt -- I am visually impaired and colours are just so many blobs of something out there! That doesn't stop me from enjoying quilting. I don't have to "see" to piece quilts! As I continue to lose my sight I have had to make some adjustments to "how" I sew, however it's not going to stop me! I appreciate so much that you share your adventures in quilting with all of us.

Thank you for sharing your quilting journey! Have you heard of the blind painter John Bramblitt. He’s AMAZING! He produces some of the most beautiful paintings, even though he can’t see. I hope his story inspires you as much as it did me.

Am watching replay…as we had family over for the game! I wanted to watch Becca and you the other night ..lol for some reason the long arm quilting sound…i couldnt take that… but maybe it was because i was getting a headache. Your quilt is beautiful! Love that quilting… and the colorfulness of the top..the binding really sets it off nicely

I am glad you were able to join the ends of your binding stripes. I attempt to do it like you do it but it never finishes like that. Quilt looks great.

I have that same Halloween Vegas Strip (and extra yardage)! Or, I had it. 😊 I used it to measure a 3 yard quilt from Fabric Cafe. I made the new curved pattern called Voyage. I did use a yard of black and white spider web print for the backing rather than the print that came with the VS. I was able to bind and back it completely witty all my scraps (though the piece back was very close).

Put in dryer after you cut the milky on low helps with fluff

The one that has a lot of mistakes in just give it to a homeless shelter. It will be used for a person and they will really apricate it. Have a good time quilting.
