Happened to my D&D party recently, though with a creature not cute at all. Gregor was the servant of a slave-owner master werewolf. He was an ugly hooded figure that barely spoke. But they were immediately smitten with him. Refused to kill him during the fight and went out of their way to spare him afterwards too. Still don't know why, I didn't give much of a description for him, he delivered like three lines, and I didn't even do a voice for him. But players will do what players will do.

Man. I adore the team behind BG3.
