Michael is so weird in this scene. He's an engaged man walking in on another woman in her underwear, and just stands there as she fumbles for something to cover up with, clearly aware that there's a weird vibe to the situation, and . . . references their naked past together? Compliments her body? Sir, you have a fiancé. Even if Jules isn't exactly screeching for him to get out of the room, he has no business being so calm here. Poor Kimmy.

Ikr, I 'm not saying I agree with everything that Julianne did but I don't why Kim and Jules are both so smitten with Michael and why he's presented as a good guy when he expresses interest in Jules while being engaged to Kim and almost kisses her and seems ok with Kim not finishing her degree (even though she might want to finish it) and giving up her own dreams to follow him with his job and tried to make Kim feel bad when she mentioned it to him.

To me, this movie demonstrates the screen's power over the audiences. A scenarist decides who the audience will see as the villan or hero of a story. No matter the story. We come to sympathise with the woman who steals another's groom. With the same story, we could have had a movie where we symathize with the deserted bride..or we could have been made to sympathize with both women and demonize the man in the triangle Etc
