Making mac and cheese with some help from my co-star in the kitchen Bounty, the Quicker Picker Upper. Head to spr.ly/BountyQPU to pick up a coupon.
In Quentin Tarantino's latest drug-laced, blood-soaked, profanity-peppered revisionist history masterpiece, food once again takes center stage alongside our singular protagonists. In a departure from his penchant for fictional brand names, a familiar box emblazoned in blue is shown as the preferred dinner of stuntman Cliff Booth. Can we improve on this childhood classic? Is there even a need to? Well, I decided to anyway. Sort of.

This video reminds me of the first assignment I had in my physics 115 class. The teacher told us to write a recipe for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. He says he’s only ever received one complete recipe in the entire 23 years he’s been a professor. After we turned in all of our recipes, he started reading the only correct recipe he’s ever gotten, “first you need to create the universe......”. It was a lesson on how to be as meticulous as possible when explaining your process. Still my favorite professor to this day. Edit: just to clarify, this assignment was for fun. Not for a grade. We were not set up to fail.

Master Thomas Not entirely, but included stuff like having a planet for hospitable life, evolving to species capable of processing the ingredients, waiting for fruits, lagoons and grains to evolve to a point where they could be turned into grape jelly peanut butter and bread. He didn’t go into too specific details, he just wanted to get the point across.

Hey look buddy, I'm an engineer, that means I solve problems. Not problems like "what is beauty", because that would fall within the purview of your conundrums of philosophy. I solve **practical** problems. For instance, how am I gonna stop some big mean Mother-Hubbard from tearin' me a structurally superfluous new behind? The answer: use a gun. And if that don't work, use more gun. Like this, heavy-caliber, tripod-mounted little ol' number, designed by me, built by me, and you best hope, not pointed at you.
