Despite watching your stuff for a long time, today was the first time I have ever attempted to recreate something I've seen on your show. I made this Mac and Cheese using the same recipe and method. I knew you weren't lying about these home-made recipes beating the easy-peasy blue box alternative, but I still couldn't believe how good it was. I tried Colby Jack Cheese instead of cheddar and substitued the dijon mustard with some 455 mustard / mojo cuban sauce. This gave me the best Mac&Cheese I've ever had, and it had a slight kick. You have given me a recipe I will use for the rest of my life.

Pro tip: When pouring a layered cocktail, don't just pour the liquids in and rely upon their density to remain unmixed. When you pour, you want to pour gently, and cause as little agitation as possible. To do this, take a spoon, and pour the liquid over the back of the spoon. This distributes the liquid more evenly and gently. Even better: angle the spoon such that the liquid then cascades into the interior wall of the glass itself.

Just made the mac and cheese and I am in total agreement, definitely the best I've ever had. Pasta still has a bit of bite, breadcrumbs add a lovely texture and the sauce is sticky and gooey and cheesy. Being in the UK I subbed English mustard for Dijon (what I have in the cupboard) and also used a ball of cheap supermarket mozzarella finely chopped (too moist to grate, 125g drained weight) in place of the American cheese, seeing as the only American cheese we get over here is the individual slices for burgers

I have watched dozens (or perhaps kajillions) of your videos, and I only just now realized that you pronounce the word "saucepan" like the English do: "saucepin." Good for you, I prefer that pronunciation myself. Edit: I love it when captions get things wrong. At 9:30 when you say "panthras," the captions called it "PEMDAS." I guess the caption writer goes by the adage "When at a loss when it comes to language, resort to maths."
As an aussie and can guarentee everyone in my life pronounces it as sausepin.

One thing I took a little enjoyment out of was the fact you lifted the pancake to check and see if it was done. I used to do this, but now I go by the edges. If you see the edge is starting to darken up, you got a few more seconds till you right in the middle :D
