A Mc10:35 comes from the days when McDonald's stopped serving breakfast at 10:30 and started serving lunch. You would go at 10:35 when they still had McMuffin's sitting around before they are thrown out, but McDouble's are coming out. You get one of each and through the beef patty and cheese on the McMuffin.

You're right on what a Mc10:35 is, but where it gets it's name is from the fact that some McDonald's restaurants will break the "no breakfast past 10:30" rule by taking left over breakfast items and logging them as bigmacs. I still remember telling my step-brother's ex about this years ago and for some reason she could not comprehend the idea of employees breaking the rules.

The way torta del casar is usually eaten is that you cut off the top part of the wheel ,which will act as lid if you do not eat it all in one sitting. Then you place the open wheel in the oven so that it warms a little and is a bit more runny (it is already kind of soft so you do not need to melt it with a hight temperature). And then you use the wheel kind of how you would use a founde: place it in the middle of the table and dip bread on it. It is amazing cheese but it is not for everybody

Have you ever had peacock eggs? I looked at them up recently, And from what I could see they're like $80 per egg

This is off topic but I actually learn from this channel, I don’t need a jar of spaghetti sauce to have pasta. I learned that I can make my own marinara and that pasta goes with many different kinds of sauces not just red sauce. I’ve experimented with so many different ingredients with different kinds of boxed pastas ( except angel hair) It’s truly been eye opening.

I've never watched this show and I couldn't stop remembering about Jerry Smith from Rick and Morty at 0:11

For everyone that keeps asking, yes, the server in the middle of the clip is Chris Parnell, the voice actor that eventually got the part of Jerry Smith. And H. John Benjamin does the voice of Archer, Bob Belcher, The comic book shop owner and Yoda from Family Guy and MANY more. Also, this is at least the 4th Archer episode he has done

As a spaniard i had to skip the part where you drizzled melted cheese over expensive iberico Ham, my heart could not take a sin of that level.

About Jamón Iberico, not only is it made with a specific breed of pig, they also feed it exclusively with acorns.

… the lack of the tarragon aioli is a small gripe but I am wondering if there might be some other small mistakes here and there that could make a nice, quick botched by Babish episode. Short and sweet where you just remake the part of the dish where it was supposed to be, then move on. Issue is I’m not sure you’ve made enough mistakes across all the videos I’ve binge watched to make a whole episode this is like the only one I can think of.

Torta del Casar was a Queso from the Shep`herds of a quite speficic and small area in Spain… it was a "bad cheese" because it wasn't fully formed and firm, hence this cake-y form, and that's why it was called "torta". Of course, it has grown from one peasants cheese nobody wanted to one of the finest cheese's in the world :) Love to see Spanish ingredients, even it it's to "diss them" ;)

did I just hear Jerry from rick and Morty in that opening scene
@gilodis233 жыл бұрын
I cannot believe that I had to scroll this far down for this comment. I checked and Chris Parnell, the voice actor for Jerry, also stars in Archer as Cyril Figgis
@misterturkturkle3 жыл бұрын
He was on archer before rick and morty started, and its one of the reasons jerry isnt in every episode cause his va is off doing Archer

Reminds me of that one scene Archer is firing a shotgun inside a car while yelling, "I can do this all day, it's just like popcorn to me!" I think he's inadvertently eaten some of the breech discharge and similarly cooked his taste buds LOL.

Babish forgetting his own advice for cracking quails eggs is honestly hilarious to me. If you don’t know what I’m talking about it’s the Congee episode.
