A coat of a very color heavy black nail polish (or two coats of a less color heavy black), a thin coat of a silver nail polish, and then a clear coat to protect the overall work. You need 20 minutes between each coat, but you end up with this kind of hammered metal finish.

Some day soon, I am going to bastardize this recipe by substituting the bread flour with sifted whole wheat flour. Which I can really recommend anyway. It gives you a more profound bread flavor, but by sifting out all most of the coarse chaff it's not as bitter or gritty as "whole" whole grain dough.

Pro tip: You can preheat a steel on a burner for a shorter period of time, but finish it in the oven to make sure it is even, for a faster andnmore energy efficient option. Get it pretty much ripping hot on the burner and then put it in the oven for like 15.
