Interesting trick. I can see why one might not want to use the word "BINGO" on the cards & choose "MAGIC" instead - some of the numbers would never appear under the letters on the card, as B is only for 1 through 15 etc. In Bingo, 75 is the highest number, so numbers higher than that really don't exist in Bingo. So in that way, I would use the word "Magic" instead, because there are no set numbers for that word. I've been watching your videos & have learned some new things from them. You speak well, you explain well, and it is very much appreciated. Great job!

One could eliminate the cheat sheet by encoding the magic number into the markings. Like 2 scratches for a number ending in 2, etc.

Yes. Excellent point. That crossed my mind too, but I didn't spend enough time working out what that would look like as far as a marking system. But I think it is very possible ...and that would be the ultimate way to do it.

Great card trick! I love the difference and this appears to be so much fun. I downloaded the PDF, but was interested to know if these cards can be purchased as used in the trick? I didn't see them in your store and would love to buy a set if possible. Keep up the good work

Thanks. Glad you like it. I just used blank faced Bicycle cards (I don't have any in the store right now). But they are easy to get for around 10 bucks a deck. You just have to do your own marking. You could also just use cards from an old deck or jokers and print out labels across the faces. Thanks for watching!

Here's an improved set of numbers for the BINGO Prediction: #1 - 14 27 43 60 74 #2 - 11 24 40 57 71 #3 - 12 25 41 58 72 #4 - 7 20 36 53 67 #5 - 10 23 39 56 70 #6 - 3 16 32 49 63 There are two improvements. Most importantly, the numbers under each letter are those that actually correspond to that letter in BINGO. Secondly, you can use a simple (no subtractions) formula to calculate the predicted total (so no crib is required). To do so, start with the # of the unused card. If it is odd, add it to 190; if it is even, double it, then add it to 190. This yields the desired value. Of course, you can still prepare a crib if this is easier for you. The crib would be: #1 = 191; #2 = 194; #3 = 193; #4 = 198; #5 = 195; #6 = 202.

Yes...and a lot of work to make the video too! :) If you like making card tricks and that sort of thing it can be fun to play with. But this one does take some effort. That's why I made a download file with the card templates and crib sheet so it would be easier to do. I like the secret behind this and I think it could be applied to other tricks as well. I most enjoyed just figuring out the math puzzle behind it. That took me awhile. Thanks for watching - I hope you enjoyed it.
