Glycolysis Made Easy!

In this video, Dr Mike makes glycolysis easy!
He begins by giving you an easy mnemonic to remember all the different glucose transporters (GLUT) and then outlines each step of glycolysis.

I searched up millions of videos on glycolysis, but none of them were as clear, and not to mention, as simple as your video. For each step you explain, you give a logical yet simple reason, which is what I liked the most. Thanks to your video I have understood (not memorised) the entire concept. Dr. Mike, thank you for your videos! Quick point of clarification on this one: It's GLUCOKINASE that's specifically in the LIVER; Hexokinase is in muscle and basically everywhere else. Love that GLUT mnemonic!

Dr Mike had a slight querry about hexokinase and glucokinase...I thought it's glucokinase found only in the liver while hexokinase is found esle where in the body cells

Yes you are absolutely right, I guess he misspoke it. Glucokinase is only found in the liver.
