Such a mind blowing explanation with this 30mins. Small suggestion gastroc doesn't cause posterior translation of tibia instead it cause only anterior translation, soleus/hams/gluts can be able to cause posterior translation of tibia

Hi sir such an awesome video. One correction the gastroc doesn't cause posterior translation of tibia, soleus only can be able to posterior translation.

sir can function of gluteus maximus muscle be attributed to its fiber contribution with the iliotibial band which is known to actually assist the function of ACL in restraining the anterior tibial translation, during open chain knee flexion ??? or the reasons are different in weight bearing and open chain motion??

Good evening sir thankyou for the explanation So will the hamstrings also have a role during locking and unlocking as they help with rotations or is it purely because of popliteus and the anatomy ?
@TonysTutorial4 жыл бұрын
Hamstring dont have a siginificant role in locking and unlocking. Thats because this motion of locking and unlocking happens at extremes of ROM. Thts at the end range of last 5 degree. We cannot rule out by saying it dont have any role, it do have as like any other muscle at around knee can infulence all motions. But in the locking and unlocking hamstring dont have a siginificant role which is commentable

Super class sir. Sir what is dynamic and static stabilizers of knee?
@TonysTutorial4 жыл бұрын
Thank u ...dynamic stabilizers are always muscles and static stablizers other associated structures. One among the major static stablizer of knee is the strong posterior capsule and assocated structures of knee joint. All muscles in around knee have a role in its stablity

Thank you sir..it's really nice explanation!!💐💐I understood.sir what is meant by patella tracking??
@TonysTutorial4 жыл бұрын
Patellar tracking disorder is a condition in which patella shifts out of position when knee range of motion is done either when knee moves from flexion to extension or extension to flexion. We have seen that patella moves along with flexion as movement progress. If theres any abnormality this smooth motions may be altered and it may shift away from normal path. And usually named as patellar tracking disorder. Good luck jemima
@jemimajemima19994 жыл бұрын
@@TonysTutorial ok sir thank you sir so much...patellar tracking is a disorder sir...ok sir now I got clarity ..I thought it's a movement..sir......like motion of patella...in flexion (in this also inferior gliding patella track comes know sir)so...I'm confused that whether it is a movement or disorder...so I asked sir.💐💐thank you sir

Sir ,I don't understand gastrocnemius .can you repeat these simply
@TonysTutorial4 жыл бұрын
Oh yes gastroneimus u dont hv to worry with knee complex its main muscle for foot and ankle just remember the following points; 1. It help in knee flexion 2. Only muscle crossing ankle and knee if plantaris is absent 3.Maximum torque or force generate at knee extension 4. As flexion increases force generation capacity decreases or activity decreases 5. It mainly act as a stabilizing muscle in knee than mobilizer....good luck
