My dad was once doing a long road trip, and a guy almost smashed right into his car. My dad, obviously pissed anger wise and almost pissed his own pants, flicked the guy off and sped away, to get as far from that driver as possible. A little later a police officer pulls him over, and they ask to search him and his car. My dad agrees, and later finds out the guy called the police claiming my dad pulled a gun on him. Obviously they find no gun, and apologize for the waste of his time, but the fact that person would claim such a thing all over a specific finger being shown to him is delusional

This is creepy regarding that last story, because one time while on the way home with our babysitter, me and my sister were all followed by some creepy man. He drove behind us the entire way home and tried to stalk us to our home. We had to pull up to one of our neighbor's places and ask him to escort us to a public location. We drove around everywhere till we lost the guy finally, but had to go to someone else's home.

We sure there ever was a Tom Johnson? If not for the BF being a friendly geek, everything else is tell tale cover up of a dude simply offing his wife with an absurd vague cover up story. No fingerprints to actually clean up. Can hit yourself with the hammer light enough. Can attack wife in bed as she sleeps, wrapped in her covers anyway. Straw-man who somehow wanted/needed a high-end PC like that at the time bad enough, had the opportunity to steal it without murder, or if fearing sketch artists/didn't bother to confirm they both died, or a thrill killer who somehow knew enough about high-end PCs to make THAT his ticket to free victims?
