storytime: My family decided to take a trip to Yellowstone National Park (before covid) and whilst we were at the park we saw a group of like 5 people throwing coins into the hot springs. My mom and I went up to them and told them "hey you shouldn't be throwing coins in there" they responded by saying "well, we PAID to be here so we can do what we want ok, ya'll need to mind your own businesses and leave us alone because ya'll are wasting our vacation time and ruining the experience" I was so annoyed and confused by the logic because they paid for something means they get to destroy it? anyways I responded "even if you paid you shouldn't be throwing coins into the hot springs, if you wanna throw coins somewhere go to a fountain or wishing well" they got SO mad at me for saying that and yelled at me saying stuff like "HOW RUDE OF YOU" and "YA'LL RUINED OUR VACATION" and all that great stuff. Oh, and I also saw them littering and just being rude to everyone around them for absolutely NO REASON. long story short, people are annoying and just don't litter or throw coins into the hot springs like seriously? just because you paid to be there doesn't mean you get to trash the place.
