Finding a body while diving is extremely dangerous. Just seeing it will usually cause a person to panic and consume more oxygen, in cave diving it's worse, many recovery divers have lost their lives and it's always a tragedy.

I'm late to this vod but the 19:20 dead homeless man is basically the same situation I was in as a child in San Francisco. First day there, we get to our hotel, there was a homeless man laying on the sidewalk next to the hotel, we assumed sleeping. Come next morning, he hadn't moved at all, and his body was taken away shortly after my mum called it in. I was the one who begged her to call for help, no one else bothered. I was like 11.

Bystander effect explains people not jumping in, but it doesn't explain the total lack of acknowledgement. This is just a guess, but if this happened in a country where large, organized trafficking rings are common, I bet people would also pretend not to see it out of fear for who they might piss off by getting in the way.

its a psychological phenomenon where the more people there are in a place the less likely anyone is to help, because everyone is thinking ''ah there are so many other people who can help her, I don't need to step in and deal with this'' and then no one dose anything. had an old lady fall down an escalator, literally no one did anything, I had to shove my way past people who were just staring at her to try and get her up.

So in regards to the video of the brick going through the windshield and killing the wife. I’m with Pig in never watching it. I’ll never understand why some people actually look for videos like that just to hear or see reactions. I cannot begin to imagine the terror and sorrow of that moment. I watched a co-worker die after a bad accident on the job that we were working together on. A freak accident we never could have seen coming in time to react. That entire scene is something I will never forget; something that changed me. The feelings I felt that day and ever since cannot even remotely begin to come close to what that husband had to have felt, and is most assuredly still feeling to this day.

While that can be true in some cases, another video talks about how the two people in that video didn’t know how to swim. They were standing and playing in the shallow water for that reason, but because of a sudden underwater cliff, they landed in deep water and couldn’t swim to escape. A majority of people in the world don’t actually know how to swim, which I feel like people who can swim seem to forget.

It's not the fact that they did nothing, though that's surely apart of it, it's the fact they had no reaction to it. Like they didn't even freeze out of fear which would be a valid explanation, they just kinda stared before going "that was weird lol" and kept going. Like there was no reaction to it alongside the fact they didn't do anything

So I dove into the Polish news somwhat to find some more info. The guy was 94 years old, retired colonelguy. The place where he took his life was in front on Chancellary of the Prime Minister where protesting medics were offering free prophylactic exams and educational workshops. It was reported he visited the place regularly, complained to the striking medics about current system and supposedly talked to some of them about cancer. The medics claimed he was a calm person and incredibly supportive of the protest, he allegedly even brought someone chocolates. The letter found on him contradicts that claim. It basically says that he did it to protest against the strike because he perceives it as political against "PiS Poland" where PiS is right-wing national-conservative party. The press conference on the video was stopped immediately, medics proceeded to help him until he was transported to a hospital where he died in less than two hours. Which is not surprising because according to a witness - half of his face was gone. The prosecutor stated that there was no firearm but two gun looking weapons were found, use of bang gun or some flare is suspected. Journalists speculated his weapon of choice was firecracker. witnesses claim he put one in his mouth and fired. And I could not find any more news. It happened 18.09.2021 Hope it interests someone lol I should be sleeping right now.

Itaewon was 1 small street that was PACKED. First Halloween after COVID restrictions lifted. I remember watching it almost live with all the people on the streets doing CPR. It was so eerie to see bodies lining the street covered in random clothing. All those vids and pics are gone (though you can prolly find them if you look far enough) but you can still find videos of all the people crushing into the street. Makes me feel even more claustrophobic. Makes me feel like hyperventilating. I was haunted for like 2 weeks. Isn’t that second hand trauma? It was insane and so sad. I wanted to visit Itaewon but knowing how packed it can be (cause I bet preventative measures good enough haven’t been put in place)makes me so hesitant. Won’t stop me if I ever go to South Korea. Just so sad.

@debrabarber3483
@debrabarber3483 Жыл бұрын
What is most unsettling about exorcisms is that the idea is to cause so much pain to the Demon it leaves, regardless of what the host goes through. The goal is to save the soul, not the body. So, it's basically torturing the mentally ill until they say the right things, or die. That's why so many of them end horribly, and most Christians abandoned the practice along with witch burning. Also, that couple wasn't sucked down, they didn't know how to swim. At all. Please learn to swim. The skill is not instinctive in humans. You will panic, inhale water and be unconscious in under 30 seconds. You will also instinctively grab anything or anyone around you out of pure panic. I nearly drowned when I was 3, but my parents took it very seriously and got me swimming lessons. Learning how to breath hold and float can save your life. Also, swimming is great exercise and a lot of fun.

The hit and broken glass is nothing compared to the screams of the husband seeing his wife. I didn't know they had their kid in the car, but you literally hear this man *break*. It cuts off after a bit, but this poor man and child. Idk why I watched gore, man. It was morbid curiosity and general stupidity. I don't go out of my way to look into gore anymore. I'm still curious, but I look for those comments that describe what happened instead. You may think it doesn't affect you, but it does. After some time, I just couldn't. These are people. It could be anyone. Your friend, neighbor, teachers, family, loved ones, and even you. I can't remember everything I've seen, but when i think about it, a couple of videos pop to mind. There might not have been demons in her before, but there definitely were after. And you should seriously look into that story, her family was a different type of Christian.

What's even crazier is that the Jonestown cult never even used Kool-Aid, they actually used the off-brand juice called Flavor-Aid.

I am ok with euthanasia if the outlook is worse and terminal. My parents said goodbye to two people who would have died a horrible and painful dead, guaranteed. This way they could pass peacefully. However the process to get there in my country, is very very very very VERY strict. The chance to get approved is extremely slim, so I can only imagine how bad it must have been for them. You have to go to doctors, therapists, psychologists, multiple, and it can take years for some. For some even too late.

I don't think it's a strong move to give up in life. They said she only had minor manageable problems (scientifically / medically) but I guess it's her choice.

@@justaemptymall idk just because docs claim they're manageable isn't always the case. I have "manageable" conditions but doctors are useless and often make things worse. Also, she's older and it's more than just one or two conditions. So. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have seen the brick video before, and it 100% does have sound. I immediately stopped watching after the screams, because it is so fucking haunting. I had no idea what the video was at first, tbf, but I'll sadly never forget it. Note: Challenger did not explode, it disintegrated, which is why the cab and the two SRBs survived. An explosion, with all the liquid hydrogen & liquid oxygen in the orange SOFI tank would have caused a much more devastating result if it had ignited. The reason there is a giant white plume, is not just because of the SRBs, but because of all the liquid hydrogen/oxygen suddenly getting exposed to the ambient air. Despite how cold it was on the launch day, both the liquids were around/below -200 Fahrenheit, which caused them to experience a rapid boil-off back into a gaseous state, producing a massive white cloud. A good example of this on a small scale is liquid nitrogen, as it produces white vapor clouds while returning to a gas.

So just the fact that Pig repeatedly said not to watch led me to actually so see and listen to the full video of the brick accident… Yeah, that was definitely something… Then if I recall about the David diving incident, wasn’t that the diver that promised the parents to get the body of their son out of there? So when his body was recovered he was actually clutching onto the body of the teen. So he actually fulfilled his promise by giving himself away in the process. I think it’s that story, in an underwater cave.

Yeah with the challenger it’s been revealed that two of the crew were conscious after the initial explosion though all were alive. They know this bc the two who were conscious used their emergency oxygen masks.
