It's a very deep cut too, the voice actor for Andrew Ryan is Armin Shimerman and Mr. House was played by René Auberjonois. These two actors were better known for their roles in Star Trek DS9 as Quark the scheming con artist, and Odo the head of station security respectively, and had a nemesis/frenemies style relationship throughout the series.

I missed out on the Bioshock trilogy when they were coming out. After getting my switch and playing all the exclusives that i wanted to play, I looked for ports of older games that had come to the system and used it to experience games that I missed out on. It was so nice being able to play them portably and since theyre older games, they didnt suffer too much from being on the switch. It was a really great way to experience and catch up on some classics (Bioshock, Borderlands, Ori 1 + 2, skyrim as a replay, Witcher had me moving saves between my switch and my xbox to experience it wherever I could). I loved Bioshock soooo much though. Love seeing it be appreciated today

I am glad I first experienced them as a 24yo instead of a younger version of myself who wouldnt have not appreciated the nuances of the story as my current self did. Now I'm off to finish the Minerva's Den DLC and then finally start infinite this week!

As a person who played bioshock for the first time this week (after years of being told to play by my cousin) the games story is great, but the game itself is riddled with problems. Turrets auto target you through walls and prefire you which is extremely infuriating, there are very loud audio problems throughout the entire game (including: hearing through multiple walls or floors, characters saying the same thing over and over nonstop, audio logs automatically replaying, and for fucks sake the ending where the little girl says “noone likes a slow poke Mr.B” a total of 500 times in 20 mins). Ah man also your character can get stuck inbetween tiny things in the game and in the ending the little girl traps you against walls constantly. Anyways yea the game is okd and has ALOT of problems, but if you can get past them then the story is pretty good. If you think its perfect, its because you’re on Copium and nostalgia
