Just love your setup’s, I’m building any time I get between work and feeding all my birds. But I plan on building a mixed setup outdoor this summer that is sweet and should be able to fill it. Besides My other passion besides being a bird nerd is a landscaper. So I cannot wait to stick the post in the ground, winter will be over soon. Keep the videos coming, thanks

U really have a magnificent set up both in door & out doors, I have a question, when you feed frozen pinkies or other frozen food when they are flawed out are they still alive or are they dead?

Thank you very much 😉 Most of the frozen insects I buy. I know they are made buy killing / sterilizing insects with hot water and then freeze them. The insects I catch i my night insect catcher I freeze directly from the container. 😉

One question please What white eyes eat? In wild they eat worms or insects, in captivity what you give???

Hi. More or less the same - meaning lots of different fresh fruits, nectar water, different insects, egg food, and soft food and pellets for softbills. Not many insects outside of breeding but then all the rest. During breeding lots and lots of insects 😉

Do you ever have difficulty netting your bird when you want to take them indoors? Or can you lure them into cages with their favourite food and then just carry them indoors?

Hi Julie! Yes - lots and lots of times 😅 But you are correct, I often use cages and traps and limit the use of nets in the large aviary as it is too hard and frightens too many birds unessesary. 😉

What type of mesh or metal screen you use sir? is it rust proof?

Hi! Yes - always rust proof - and quite good quality aviary mesh. Either for finches or parrots (much stronger). The cockatoos simply destroy the mesh for finches 🤣😱😅
