I think I have said it before, but it's so true that I have to repeat it: you Lisa are the absolute queen of acrylic painting! 😊

I have just joined your group a few weeks ago! I am a professional artist, your information is spot on! It reaffirms what I know and has a lot of info that I don’t. I have been a member of many online tutorials, this one is excellent! And in my medium acrylic! Yahoo!

I was super surprised when I saw this on my feed. I love your more complex surreal paintings/drawings! I've been watching your videos for years (when you still uploaded critiques). You taught me the fundamentals of colored pencil

I'm amused (does it count as amused if it also comes with some weird annoyance that isn't depressing but it's easy to call depressing?) that you have to mention that video whenever you talk about thinning down acrylics. Granted, I've seen the video and it spooked me off of acrylics really hard since what I wanted to do was apparently taboo. As it turns out it's actually fine and maybe I should pick up some Liquitex Basics and muck around with it again. It is a shame you need to keep repeating that bit though. I absolutely adore the paintings that feature "extra" elements. Whether it's some coral, these mushrooms, floral manes, extra bubbles, all of that. Anything that kind of blends that realistic style with a touch of fantasy and wonder that usually doesn't accompany photorealism styles.

Sigh, I know what you mean! I wish I didn't have to keep bringing it up! And yes, grab some liquitex basics! They're great to work with!!
