I’ve actually day dreamed while listening to this song and I think the “from my mouth” part of the song would be great for animating the fight between omori and himself, and him winning. It’s a powerful and emotional part of the song that reall represents a battle with yourself. So I think the happy ending would work perfectly with this song :)

@Sakuya IzaYee the yellow cat is also there because it was in their treehouse, on the calendar. But that would make sense why there are so many cat references in general. Also, in sunny’s sketchbook, there is a ton of drawings about a single black cat. Sometimes blood rains from it, and in one drawing the black cat (mewo) is standing over sunny’s bed, while he’s sleeping. Sunny did not just feel guilt towards mari, but her cat mewo too. Otherwise there wouldn’t be so many cats... more hidden, but this just makes things sadder. Surprised that his friends just seemingly forgot about mewo?
