I read a lot of comments on the number of pieces at this fire. Very few if any of these companies have a fully paid crew. Some have a daytime paid driver ONLY. Some don't have that. They are volunteers, and this is during the day. Pennsylvania has over 1,000 municipalities of every size, and the counties do NOT run the fire service. Most every little burg or township has a fire company. There are over a dozen rigs to get enough firefighters to do the job. Training can be spotty, and most rigs do not turn a wheel even once a day.
@janusviborgolesen96132 жыл бұрын
Dave You may have a point. But still someone must have alerted all these rigs. A compare: where I live for a fire like that (depending on the information from the call to 911) first 2 rigs holding together 6 voulenteer fire fighters (1 normal team) and 1 scene commander would respond. Then depending on the judgement from the scene commander might request an additional team to assist.

2:40, that is NOT the proper way to display the American flag. It's disrespectful because the flag is going to get loaded with dirt and start to look like crap. If you want to display the flag, get a nice flag decal or paint it on the side so it can be easily cleaned. Cloth flags should only be displayed at the front of a vehicle and only for parades or ceremonies. I know they want to be patriotic, but it should be done in the RIGHT way.
