The Birmingham St Patrick’s Festival returned on Sunday the 17th March 2024. The Parade started at St Anne's Church, Alcester St, proceeded down Bradford St and ended at the junction with Rea St.
The parade was organised by The Birmingham Irish Association.
There were lots of groups taking part in the parade but I don't know all the names. The ones I spotted include, The Birmingham Irish Pipes And Drums Band, Nechells POD, Sean McDermotts Gaa, M & J Mahoney and Sons Ltd, McCarron School of Irish Dance, Pat Benson Boxing Academy, Chinese Community Centre Birmingham, Murphy Plant, Birmingham Cork Association, Off Our Trolley Arts,
The West Midland Fire Service Pipe Band and Highgate's Fire Appliance, several Grinsell's Skip Hire trucks, The Ramblers Birmingham Irish Association, I missed some due to changing a battery, John Hughes Haulage, The Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts, Sylvia Murphy-Brennan Academy of Music, Song and Dance, Erin Go Bragh Gaa, Birmingham Irish Heritage Group, Bishop Challoner Catholic College, TAIN, Shirley Pipe Band, Scanlon School of Irish Dancing, Archbishop Ilsley Catholic School, Smooth Moves Dance Academy, St, Patricks Private Members Club, Black Country Che Guevara Celtic Supporters Club, John Mitchels GAC Birmingham, St Johns Ambulance. The various Irish County associations.
