Took my kids to a Stallions game. Although the stadium isn’t packed like NFL games. There’s something about it that feels more personal than going to “higher production” games. The players play harder. They want it more. It’s just more pure. I really enjoy it. Go Stallions and congrats to the Brahmas!

Prior to the game the broadcaster said this was the game of the year but they maybe be incorrect now that the Birmingham Stallions lost. If the Michigan Panthers beat the Houston Roughnecks (1-7) at Home on Sunday, then next weeks match up between the Birmingham Stallions (8-1) and Michigan Panthers (6-2) will determine the UFL Conference Division winner. It would be a confusing tie breaker as both teams would have beaten each other, and have only 1 divisional loss.

@@puddinsockstrophys yahhhh

@@Elitemage if you want that to really happen, the S.A. will need 1. Drop their fandom of the Cowboys. NFL & Dallas get a lot of money from S.A. fans in terms of merchandise, tickets sold for games and T.V. ratings. So for both it already is like having an NFL team out the expense of having a real team in the city. 2. Why is loyalty to the Cowboys an important factor. The NFL has done is research and knows that brand loyalty to the CB is very strong here AND financially the people living in S.A. don't make enough money per year to support a team within the city limits plus the Cowboys. If San Antonio had remained neutral in what merch they bought, the games they went to and what they watched on TV then maybe the NFL would see San Antonio as an untapped market. But the hard truth is that the population as a whole doesn't make enough disposable income and what disposable income IS spent on entertainment and sports already goes to the Dallas Cowboys. I don't want to forget that the Spurs take a lot of that disposable income too leaving less for a 2nd team. And the NFL knows all that information from marketing and research.
