Congratulations to you both. I laughed so much listening to your story. As a retired midwife I have seen the scenario you described several times. Basically once the baby’s head is delivered the baby should rotate it’s shoulders into the correct position. Some fail to do that for different reasons so that’s why they jumped on your abdomen to manually rotate the baby’s shoulders into the correct position. Dealing with husbands passing out was a regular thing. The ones that made me chuckle were the big obnoxious husbands who go down like felled timber in the delivery room. You brought back a lot of memories for me 😂😂😂🙌🏽

How about this for a kicker, my second baby she is now 3, I went to the hospital on the 16th of April at 10am, the nurse checked me and I was 7cms dilated, I wasn't in any pain I just went in because my friend had her baby before me and her due date was May lol, anyway, 8pm that night a nurse checked me and say hey it almost time to push u are a 8 cm. By this time is was in so much pain it was unbelievable, She broke my water then, by the time she came back in to take me to the delivery room I was 2cm dilated. she freaked out. She got the doctor the Dr said they're to keep an eye on me . I was induced at 10am on the 17th of April had her at 10:35 am. I was to get a C-section but my mom called my aunt who is a midwife and she delivered my daughter. Congratulations on the new baby
