My Father grew up in Bishop Auckland in Surtees Street .

Olivia Poingdestre (Nee Daykin) Mrs. Brown taught me at Coronation school, she was a first class teacher and an inspiration to me. I will never forget her.

1959, the year my brother Stuart was born, he died December 1999, aged 40. Stuart like myself we were born in what was then a Nursing Home at the top of Princess Street.
