Why effacement has been replaced by cervical length in Modified Bishop as compared to Bishop score. Plz reply

Cause better delivery outcome co relation with cervical length plus acc to me length calculation is more accurate n precise than %of effacement...these are my own logic to justify the modification..feel free to check in standard textbooks..🙏🏻
