The traditional Japanese instrument is a shamisen. This is definitely my favorite collaboration of the year, it was really cool to see MTH team up with some of the younger generation of Japanese musicians.

This song is a re-make from 2007, Atarashii is singing parts originally done by Nao. The shamisen part was originally electric guitar w/ Daisuke rapping. When I saw AG live in Chicago, this version had just been released, and they played the MV before the concert started.... was super loud 🤘

Utter Chaos, so much fun!! Fun Fact - the beautiful lady singing last is Nao, drummer. She has inspired many female drummer in Japan. 2 Akane of Band Maid and Tamu of Nemophila. Oh, singer/guitarist is Nao's younger brother!!

That´s an old song from MTH, in the original, Nao do the part that here plays Atarashii Gakko, and this is a "normal" song from MTH, those people are crazy changing the tempo or their songs and putting always the unspected , the crazyness. But well... what you expect from a band who their most popular song must be "Koi no Sperm" Oh, btw... the instrument it´s a samisen
