I reckon 6 about right, hopefully a 7 by years end. Plenty of upside if he can hold a few more contested marks and kick straight. No 23, Ken Fraser the first former bomber to come to mind.

I dont mind cox... they say they want to make him a blitzard 2.0, but i could see jones put on a bit of muscle and grow in confidence over 2-3 years and beat cox to it! Hes got ball skills and pretty agile 👍

In the not so distant future HJ will have other players decoying for him,HJ must be doing something the coach has asked of him as he's played plenty of games at the moment id give him a 6-6•5 with stacks of improvement still 2come,he has the footi smarts and it would be great if Lloydy did spend a little time with him as it would be mentally rewarding to HJ knowing Lloydy spending his personal time with him.PS let's smash those tigers hopefully 60+how rewarding would that be

6.5 from moi. Jones runs harder than anyone to present a marking option. He is fit this year and is proving to be an aerobic beast. Tackling has improved greatly. Building!

Yes a 6 for me, needs to be more accurate in front of goal and if he does that obviously will kick more goals. You would like an accuracy of 60% at least and 1.5 goals a game.

From the pre-season games I watched this year I felt like HJ was going to emerge as a stronger player - 6.5 for me - One of my favorite players of this year.

I can’t tell what type of player he will be. I don’t think he has that pace for to me to see him as a leading forward who leaves a defender in the dust on a lead, nor does he have the height and strength to win contests. All you can hope is for his technical ability to improve the match ups that are favourable. He is a good player as a third tall option to cause a team a headache if they are short on taller defenders on game day.

Like Harry Jones, Absolutely Essendon shows flashes of brilliance, occasional stretches of consistency but overall is pretty average. Sounds about right

Didn't realise Harrison Jones is 23 years of age. Part of the Perkins, Cox trio all of whom are starting to mature and show form and holding down their places in the team. Takes a good overhead mark and leads well. Needs to improve his kicking but generally a reliable shot on goals. Can be out bustled in pack situations. At times reminds me of a young James Hird ready to take the game on and own it. Effort 5, Efficiency 5, Consistency 5, Wow Factor 5 = Edge Factor 5. Could play the part of The Joker ala Joaquin Phoenix. Another good footballer out of PEGS Reply

PEGS eh? Like Fletch. Used to ride past the joint when I lived in Airport West. Jones was meant to be our replacement for Daniher….& has failed in that respect. So now he’s the decoy? I’m not sure his position is sustainable unless he becomes a help to defenders & turns into our main contested marker on the wing for that second kick out of defence - an achilles heel for Essendon for decades. If he’s not kicking goals, he needs to be more of that link from the wing to the arc, at least bringing the ball to ground on the wing/half forward. 6.25/10 thus far…

It's his 6th year in the system. He is not strong enough to be a key position player. He is the third tall and could be a good player consistently as a hit up target due to his work rate and pressure which can be awesome. If he can do that and kick a goal a game that's possibly best 23 material in a finals side, but the reality is I'm hoping Caddy goes straight past him tonight and never looks back. 6.3 for Jonesy.
