Glad to hear that it helped! 🤘 I did a follow up video showing that it was working afterward, but no video about the configuration process yet. Still working on it

Always nice to see things working. Lots to do on the configuration side. I think just showing someone how to set up the dev environment so they can load the ESP-Miner codes would be useful. My video setup is not conducive for those sorts of videos.

Thanks man. Some crazy progress has been made this week. I might even be able to sell the complete unit to shops that want to use recycled chips with better efficiency.

Cool thing we have people like the creator of bitaxe. It's opensource and everyone can go and do their own thing. I personally want to make baby S19 miner, so like something similarly shaped, it will probably use a 25mm fan, and be on much smaller PCB, which I want to achieve by using USB-C for PD and programming, design own ESP32 circuit with tiny ceramic antenna instead of using that big off the shelf module, get rid of the oled screen and other optional stuff like power meter. The PCB would be around 25x80mm. BTW. the discord invite doesn't work.

@@Arek_R. doh! that would make sense as you were talking about bitaxe. Sorry about that. Try this link - discord.gg/S4nYrmja . I'll fix it in the description as well. Sorry I've been distracted with CNC routers and 3d printers lately

i'm always watching your videos :D and i still need a full out of the box function for such devices :D DreamerX not responding - so it looks like there is nothing outside ready to order and easy to use :( - i think till now i have 2000 Chips to test.

There is an out of the box solution I found just recently. The only thing you have to do is solder the header pins. That can be done with an inexpensive soldering iron. Please keep an eye for the video, it will be coming out soon. As for the Bitaxe Test Socket, I need to make a video on it too. I'm working toward getting it to a released version where you can order the parts and even get most of them placed on the PCB for you. Thanks for watching!

Greetings my friend, very good explanation. I have been searching all over the internet for a video that teaches me how to flash that miner, I have one ASIC Chip Bitcoin Miner Bitaxe 1397 that I bought, and when I was updating it, the power went out, and I think it was damaged, and I'm looking for a way to revive it with flashing it. can you help me, thanks
@iagmr
@iagmr 2 ай бұрын
Sorry to hear about the problem Salvador. There's nothing on the 1397 ASIC that needs to be flashed, so I assume you mean the Bitaxe controller. Your best bet for getting help with flashing the Bitaxe is to join the Open Source Miners United discord server - discord.gg/vpE3T72f Check out the Bitaxe section.

So I just got my first working bitaxe and I find at different times the hash rate will be around 200 and just by resetting I can get 500 don’t know why but i heard you may be throwing chips away and you may want to test different voltages and frequencies and keep rebooting if not right just to be sure My first bitaxe did not work I’m told it need to be programmed and I got the hardware the software mostly right now stuck on cmake but I keep trying never got approved for discord and applied many times so don’t know about that but it would help
