Kind of have to be now with multi billion dollar companies doing R&D to build asic's for asic resistance algo's,innosilicon wrote back in a email when I asked about their ether asic's saying they found out the could build GPU's that only contain the curuits required to mine ethereum,which I though was pretty cool that those asic's are kind of a bunch of little gpu die's on each board and by stripping everything else out they increase efficiency by 5 to 6x so there's no way to stop asic's long term,if they can mimic the process that gpus use and gain efficiency by removing unneeded circuits they can't be stopped,supposedly from someone who works with them they have beta testing going for these types of asics that can mine multiple different GPU popular algos but they unsure of releasing them because they would rather people buy a certain device for a certain algo rather than selling one device that can jump to multiple different algo's

There is a solution for how loud those delta fans are by removing them and stacking 120mm fans and using M4 threaded rods to secure them instead of the screws; it works for fpgas and asic units. Peace

Crazy buzz! The S19 Pro spec has a sound level of 75db which would be equivalent to a vacuum running. Is a vacuum an accurate description of the sound level? Also, general question on asics. You can't switch them to a different coin right? Like when ETH goes POS, you'll have to trash your ETH asic miners, is that right? Thanks for the awesome content!

Just wondering Is there any difference in having just 1 ASIC compared to having several ASIC mining machines when joining a pool? Is the miner paid more for having more hash power or Is the miner paid the same as if he or she just had 1 ASIC mining machine joined to a pool?
@michigangreen19153 жыл бұрын
You get paid based on your hashrate. Someone with 200 TH/s will make double what someone with 100 TH/s. The number of machines or miners does not make a difference.
@Chizstarz863 жыл бұрын
@@michigangreen1915 Ok going by what you've wrote wouldn't that mean more the machines you have equals more hash power thus more earning potential? My question is how does the payment structure work in terms of having either 1 machine or having several? If you could imagine a mini mining farm in your garage or basement for example vs having 1 or 2 machines in a spare room? I hope that makes sense. I'm wondering what's the difference and how Is the hash rate determined. Are the machines that you own, the total hash power of each pooled together or can you join separate pools? hat is the preferred method and essentially what makes sense?

@mrjonesyyy3 жыл бұрын
There's a list of sites in the video's description, although cryptominerbros is pretty inflated price wise, trustworthy but pricey. Just make sure to reddit the place you're considering buying from as a first step and go from there. I'm sure RPM would say it depends on your financial and power consumption situation. Personally, I don't mess with asic's because of the power consumption involved. If you've got the money, I know theres some newly released miners, meaning more efficiency. Good luck!
