The "camels" in South America are Llamas, Alpacas, Guanacos, and Vicunas. Non of these are really strong enough to be used as calvary, nor to the best of my knopwlege were they ever utilizied in such a way. But it is an novel idea for an alt history game.

9:20. The camelids native to South America are not the same as the camels found in the Old World (the ones with the humps), but rather creatures like the llama and alpaca. However, Australia has quite a big population of feral camels.

Unless the Peruvian military imported dromedary camels to use as cavalry for some reason, those divisions wouldn't make sense. So while I doubt Bitt3r deliberately intended to mislead his audience, saying "camels are native to Peru" is not entirely accurate.
