You are under almost every non splatoon video i see and always the top3 liked on splatoon videos Edit to be in theme with the comment : master chief with a splatana stamper isn't to weird. Just make it a lazer chainsaw sword that shoots the lasers when swung because the magnetic field cant keep them at high velocity (the same reasoning as the ink not sticking to the stamp when swung).

this video is great, and an adorable idea, but something which might be worth keeping in mind if you make a second video: the brands given to the second kits (deco, nouveau, custom, etc) actually correspond with the brand the original weapon is made by. these brands have a specific kind of weapon they make; custom makes the more industrial weapons, nouveau makes weapons based on art supplies, and splat brand makes the water gun type weapons, doing collabs with the clothing brands for second kits ALL THIS TO SAY that although the Custom A-SO4K Rifle looks great, i think a more fitting brand would have been firefin due to the weapon's plastic design. again, great video, i just am a big splatoon freak and i care about the little details like that :)

LOVE THIS CONCEPT AND I DO WANNA SEE MORE! And just for fun, I brainstormed how I think these would work if they were actually in the game: - A-SO4K Rifle: Taking inspiration from the Halo Combat Evolved Assault Rifle, it has around the range of the .96 Gal with a high fire rate reminiscent of the splash-o-matic, but with somewhat low damage, around 20 per shot, and rapidly decreasing accuracy the longer it fires. It gets its better accuracy back pretty quickly when it stops firing however, incentivising short controlled bursts of fire like the original! - Splashma Dualies: Firing at a rate and range between the regular Splat dualies and Glooga dualies, these things are very mobile and accurate, though they lack an immediate punch when moving while firing. But a roll fixes this, as immediately after a roll (which is slightly slower with these), you can fire a single big, blaster-like projectile! While it has no indirect blast and a very obvious tell and sound when you roll to charge it up, scoring a direct hit with that power shot will INSTANTLY splat whoever is unlucky enough to be in its path!

I don’t know much about Halo. But I do know a lot about Splatoon and from what I’ve read this sounds like fun mixups for the gameplay! Especially the Splashma Dualies’ big shot roll idea, that sounds so fun to use, particularly in salmon run, imagine shooting down a stinger then you roll to then shoot at a fly fish, the (supposedly) explosive splash taking down its remaining missile launcher, defeating it in the process

@@qwacktrap1459 For sure! I think there's a lot of ideas you can think about by fusing ideas and core design elements of other games' iconic weapons! Particularly in the dualies case I wanted to incorporate the overcharge big shots of the plasma pistol because it's a core iconic part of the weapon's identity! It's just fun to think about this kinda stuff!

Not sure if it'd play as well, but alternatively for the charged shot you could have it instantly drain the opponent's ink down to zero so that it parallels the shield popping ability it has in the Halo series.

I would love to have a Spartan laser charger. 4-5 shots an ink tank, same range as the splat charger, but it takes as much time as Eliter to charge and will fire the moment it is fully charged, with a 1 second long laser beam that can be swept across players and splat them instantly. It will have splash wall and booyah bomb as it’s special.

GOD these are such cool designs! I cannot get over the name A-SO4K Rifle, it's SO CLEVER! This did make me think of a hypothetical Needler blaster with favourable firerate & close-range inking at the cost of below average range with horrible damage and explosion radius (1 needle = equals 15 total damage), but not only do the needle blasts home in on enemies and deal two-thirds of their damage when the stuck needle detonates, making for decent sustained damage, but hitting 5 in a short enough period will cause a large blast (Maybe Luna or S-Blast sized?) that will finish off the target and splat or deal large damage to surrounding opponents, in addition to painting turf. Not sure how stuck needles would work in regards to a target swimming through ink, but the idea's neat at least.

These were so much fun to see! I was genuinely so surprised by how well they turned out. Hearing your creative process and details was really neat to see. In terms of other Halo weapons that could be cool to see, the Energy Sword and Gravity Hammer would be great. I’m a sucker for melee weapons in shooters, and I think the two would fit great as a Splatana and Roller respectively.

If you're brainstorming ideas for more Cov weapons to splat-ify, I have a couple of ideas to spitball: The Pelleter (The Needler) A pair of Duelies that rapidly fires mini paintballs. Super-rapid sustained damage, But no ink trail and small ink impact. More for splats than painting. Plus the lack of an ink trail would make locating the player using it much harder. One detail I want to point out is that the "Needles" on top of the gun are miniature see-through magazines carrying the pellets. The Pressure sword (The Plasma sword) An... Odd mixture of Paintbrush & Splatana that has a half circle structure with two spouts protruding from the front. When fired, The spouts fire a high pressure stream of ink, Having the ink be the "Blades", The entirety of the half circle structure (Bar the handle) Is see-through plastic the colour of the team your on. Giving it that "see-through energy" look. The weapon lacks the long range projectile of the other Splatanas, But has a larger initial strike range to compensate. Basically, You'll need to get into melee range to put anyone down. It paints the entirety of it's strike range, But each swing takes a lot of ink.

I’ll admit I know little about Halo, but the fantastical weapons in there do feel like a perfect fit for Splatoon. It makes me want to try this myself!
