My son and I went canoe camping with our two dogs on a beautiful island here in Norway. It was the first time out in a canoe for them both, but I think they did great!

When you were walking around the island and the birds were squawking I thing the were asking the rest of the wild life if they have ever seen other wildlife that were neon orange? I love that the dogs are building that trust and are enjoying the outdoors.

Such a wonderful relaxing spot. Not sure if you can find it in America . Most camping hard with dogs and you would need a bear box or haul up for food. Not only bears but raccoons are a plague in places. Wonderful to take us to this tranquil place. Thank you

Shiva.. the destroyer..is my Belgian malinois name..best loyal friend in this world, fixing up a Mercedes to camper soon..plan is to move from Ireland to Scandinavia a.s.p. I have a 6 year old son I did not see for almost 2 years. Due to his narcissist mother. Hope one day he knows how much I love him. ( Great video,life is beautiful when you have your son in it).

It’s good to camp with family members, we have a fall camp out planned again this year, if all our family comes, it will be 15 of us, my wife, 2 sons and one daughter and a total of 7 grandchildren!

I've gone canoeing with a couple of malamutes - the paddle helps keep them in a down position so they don't tip you over. Dogs are natural swimmers and especially appreciate it in hot weather.

I haven't used tents like this, but there are many ticks where I'm from and enough transmission of disease through their bites to be worried about. Do you need to worry about them entering through underneath and getting on you while you rest or sleep, or does the material repel them, or do they just not bother crossing over the dirt if you space yourself far enough from the grass?

What a beautiful and peaceful place to camp, you are so fortunate to be able to do that undisturbed. In Britain we would need to be vigilant against flooding, high winds and intruders, making sure that our camp can't be seen by passing bandits.

Thanks for including us with your camp out. I loved it. You take very good care of your dogs, love their wardrobe. I would love to camp out like that but don't feel safe with human behavior to put it nicely. I trust no one at this point from what I've experienced and what I see what people have turned into. It's sad 😢 and makes me angry it limits what I do or don't do.

Your son was making me laugh with the over shoulder look... my daughter gives me the same look. lol The doggos are adorable! It was absolutely beautiful to look at and I must admit I am a little jealous of such a beautiful place. lol I'm only 36 and I have always hated those little foam pads. I would rather find soft ground, sleep in a hammock, or bring an air mattress. Yes, I'm a sensitive girl. lol Those foam pads have never been useful for me and it's only gotten worse as I've gotten older. lol I've done a lot of camping with my kids. It's one of the best activities in my opinion.

Such a beautiful island and lake Bjorn, I am never happier than near water and loved the sound of the gentle lapping against the shoreline. Your dogs are lovely-My friend has had 3 rescue dogs of this breed which have been retired after racing and they are really gentle creatures but full of life! My late husband always made “sausages on sticks” when we camped here in the North of the U.K. - you made me long for the smell of them cooking over the open fire 🔥 Do take us with you often 😔

If you'd of put my dog in one of those suits his dogs were wearing my dog would've jumped in the water, then rolled around in the dirt, ran through some bushes tearing it up etc. etc. until it was a tattered rag and it fell off of him LOL

I have my own canoe it is fantastic way of being on water no noisy engine. Bit of advice you can buy water proof canvas dry bags the problem with plastic bags a gust of wind and they are lost into the water. Great video like always thank you
