Loved this video, my Family cooked many a meal over the outside fire growing up; fondly recall the extended family campouts as my Grandma and her sisters would make waffles over the outside fire my great Aunt Alice would put eggs on top to cook right after she flipped it just in case anyone wanted eggs and when the eggs were done so was the waffle! So good to see you outside, in your element!

I love waffles with strawberries and whip cream. Will be making me some on my next camping trip after watching this. I agree with you about the forest. We have an old homestead property dating back to 1842. It has two woods on it and a couple creeks. We love to go there and camp. Seems like everytime we talk to a visitor they want to know why we don't sell the trees or get electricity. People don't understand the value of nature it makes us wise. And wisdom is more valuable then what money and conveniences can bring. Love your videos.

If you boil maple syrup to a certain temperature and then pour it on snow it'll crystallize and become thick then you wrap a popsicle stick around it and it becomes a maple syrup popsicle I don't know the exact temperature but you have to make it hot before it works

when making food i always gave a small portion to nature to say thank you for its bounties, especially when I am in the forest or wild places. If the small portion helps feed some small animal or plant then it is good. So your loss is of benefit to nature of the small part of waffle mix. Beautiful forest and great videos and philosophy
