Also the 70 vs 75 is not a contradiction because in the OT it doesn’t list the wives that went but in the NT it does account for the wives. It’s been a while since I’ve looked at it but it talks about 66 people going into Egypt. The New Testament mentions 75 which is 9 more. 12 sons. 1 son Joseph his wife was already in Egypt. And then 2 other wives had died before the trip so that leaves 9. 9 + 66=75 total. Like I said it’s been a while since I read it but I know for sure the wives were not accounted for because it specifically says so in the OT. But the NT it doesn’t say that.

The best way to end this is with prophecy. So, who is Deuteronomy 28 talking about. I can't recall the present Jewish people residing in Palestine being sold and scattered throughout the 4 corners of the earth, or not knowing who they are, it being hardheaded people. In order to properly identify the chosen ones, you have to align the people who are being inflicted with those said curses.

Sir, both 70 and 75 are correct for their time. I'm sure you know about the Septuagint ( the Greek version of the Hebrew Scriptures) more than i do. Some did not count people like the widows and maybe even tiny babies but the early Grecian christians did! Greek and Roman numerals are more specific and God is very specific. He said, "every hair on our head is numbered." Mankind might overlook the widows, women and even babies. But God won't, they count too.
