With bike shops out of inventory due to the virus, that sculpture could be a lot more valuable if they would de-construct it and fix the bikes up.

🙋♀️Hello Russ! I loved the drone shot in Pringle, reminded me of a patchwork quilt with all the shades of green. Custer is a nice town, more excitement. Campground looked nice once you got back further. It's quiet, I hope. 👍 (The Wind Cave, I had to look it up, & it's actually underneath that field where you looked over the story board.) Get a good night's rest, see you early!

Hi Russ.. You did it ! You showed the campground you stayed in.. Really would love to see more of the over night stops.. Maybe some prices too.. It would be fun to see you relaxing in the campground.. Having some dinner and talking about the day's drive.. Like a recap of the day.. More One on one chat.. Stay safe..

I liked seeing the bicycle sculpture. I also have two questions & don't laugh at my lack of historical knowledge. 1.) Is Custer S.D., named after Gen. George Armstrong Custer; & 2.) Does the Black Feet Indian Nation reside, in the Black Hills, of S.D. ?

Going this way, you'll go through Hill City, First. Custer history doesn't become apparent until you take a tour of the Custer County Museum. I forgot to look on the Custer vets memorial; I should have an uncle listed on it. Nope, North is toward Lead and Deadwood. East is more direct to Rushmore. Rushmore info and history is in Keystone. There's probably a bus from Keystone to the Rushmore viewing area. There's an old time Steam train from Hill City to Keystone; (.. was kinda pricey for me...) I remember the Crossings of the track between Hill City and Keystone from when I was very little (in the 1950's) -- same train, tracks, crossings and scenery on the old road. Hmmm... I wonder if the "Trial of Jack McCall" is still played in Deadwood -- I watched it in 1961 when we visited Mom's close relatives in Hill City.

Not so much a sculpture as a “pile of bikes”! LOL That’s pretty country. “God’s country” my dad used to say. Those folks in Pringle keep their places pretty neat. You could spend a lifetime in the area and not see it all. Check out Spearfish canyon.
