In the novel, Guangzhi and Guangmou are two apprentices of the Elder Jinchi, they abetted the Elder to burn Tang Seng (Sun Wukong's Master) to death in his sleep, because the Elder was extremely greedy and wanted to take possess of Tang Seng's kasaya. The Elder had been collecting beautiful kasayas for many years, yet as he saw the one Tang Seng had, he knew he must have it. But because Sun Wukong secretly protected his master by covering him in a fire-repelling cage that he borrowed from other deities, the fire ended up burning the whole Guanyin Temple down, and the Elder Jinchi, hopeless and frustrated, hit himself against the wall and died. That kasaya then was stolen by the Black Bear Guai, who was also in connection with the Elder.

I'm still in chapter 3, but I think the basic gist of the "secrets" is that all maps contain a secret boss, which drops an item that counters the main boss of the area. So for Chapter 1, you unlock the secret boss via the bells. It also gives you the lore of the chapter. Watch out for them!

yea its also leading to good/true ending if you fight the boss if you don't do the secret mission you will get the default ending wich is a bad ending

You do more dmg if you complete the light attack combo(ends with a staff slam attack). That combo where you press a heavy attack during your light attack combo is to nullify dmg and counter attack(if you time that well just as the monster is gonna hit u). With skil upgrade you can even combo it with yet another heavy attack

@@NotPolarEX I very STRONGLY recommend that you completely explore the entire area before finishing the Final Boss of an area. Not only are there multiple boss fights that help you Boost Exp, but you also can get more transformations. Also there are multiple Pill Boxes and Chests around. The Pill Boxes can either upgrade Stamina or Health and the Chests have items needed to make new Armor and Staffs. Trust me when I say that you'll eventually need to get as High of a Level as Possible so that you have upgraded your Stats and Skills as well as need as Good Armor as Possible. The Bosses only get Harder and Harder from here. Like it gets to the point that the Final Boss of Chapter 2 would instantly Fold Black Bear from Chapter 1. Like its not even a contest. The Main Character would one shot Black Bear by the time he makes it to Chapter 2's final Boss. Hell by the end of Chapter 5 if every Boss teamed up against you, you should be able to One Shot all of them easily. Thats how far this scaling goes if you explore good enough and have the best Gear and have all of the Skills and Stats as High as Possible. Btw in Chapter 5 you will end up being able to Fight a Boss that helps you get The Secret Ending to the Game. It is VERY important that you find him. So if you want Spoilers to get to the Boss im more than willing to guide you without telling you who you Fight

@@NotPolarEX You can upgrade your Spells and Transformations. Also when you transform into anything you don't lose Health as your main character. The Transformations are meant to trade blows with Bosses.

@@NotPolarEX idk if you already figured it out but it seems like you're pressing left trigger first, which is your Staff Spin, so the game thinks that's what you want to do. You gotta pull right trigger first, like you're casting a spell, and then hit left trigger. It seems simple but it can be a little finnicky sometimes, pretty much every spell or action in the game has a slight delay so the inputs have to be fairly precise.

Bro, hit the r1r2 together and don’t panic hit, the spirits are op hella dmg. You can pratice hitting it anywhere next to a shrine and reset to recharge. And you never use heavy attacks may i add… heavies do a lot dmg, you can use them individually or hit heavy in your light attach combo to have “varied” combo. You’re only doing light combos now and it’s just too one dimensional and won’t get you too far on mastering the game. Good content tho fun watching fun gaming.
