Bro, you’re doing great for level 150. I’m on 342 and struggled against Erlang’s second level in relic holders challenge. This is what I did: Changed to rock solid instead of cloud step. This really helped to stop the swirl attacks he does. Also, I use sunset of 9 skies drink to bring back spirit and vessel soon. This helps to preserve mana in the lower level bosses fight. the gauntlet bosses are way more aggressive I love it!! Qing-tian gourd + boshan censer curio carried me through it all! Big Erlang has been fun to fight in our regular form! I can't wait to see what Game Science cooks up next🔥

finished the gauntlet at NG+7 because I hate my life. Bosses have 1 shot attacks and if you are not one shot, 75% of your health is lost on 1 hit. I understand the challenge brother. Just keep powering through.

Aww, I felt that disappointment with how close you came! Try the Damage Reduction Build: Full Bull King Armor Set with the Dark Iron Staff, Wind Tamer Vessel, Earth Rakshasa Spirit (Maxed out), Life Saving Strand Spell, (Boshan Censer, Jade Moon Rabbit, and Gold Sun Crow Curios), Qian-Tian Gourd with the Jade Dew Brew+2 Laurel Buds and Guanyin 's Willow Leaf. When fully active, it can give about 80% damage reduction (I believe). You'll be a tank, taking significantly less damage. With the Gourd replenishing every 30 seconds, plus the drink giving you over 60% health a swig, you can easily make up for what you lost. Life Saving Strand + a resurrection pill are your fail safes, offering two or more chances after being knocked down. I breezed through these Gauntlets, including the Relic Holder's. I hope it serves you well. Merry Christmas!🎄🎁.

when finishing the game one has only mastered the basics(one stance, perfect dodging...). to finish the challenge you need to switch stances to best counter each move, see through to increase invincible frames and maximize dps, and that needs hundreds hours' practice

Erlang is the best boss in the game. You really get a sense of accomplishment defeating him. Your gourd didn’t charge your Qi, neither did your hits. You need at least 2-3 fans to stand a chance against him. Trust me bro I been there for over a week.

Meybe I got lucky but that one was one of the easiest to beat. I got it first try. I used bull king's armor, spell binder, the wind teamer and life saving strand. Im not gonna talk about the whole build becouse it's fluid. Just try diffrent thing's until it works. :D

I completed all the challenges. And it was extremely hard. For the last one. I used resurrection with Preservation Orb thrice. I was completely lucky that time. For Relic Holders. (First Resurrection Happened without consumption in Yellow Wind Sage). Till Erlang's Fight, my Resurrection was ready. Which I used in the final fight (2nd phase of Erlang). And immediately after ressurection, I used up transformation, then consumed the Soul Remigration Pill for third resurrection. (dont transform after consuming soul remigration pill). It was so hard and frustrating.

Wukong is the only game that I have ever earned a platinum trophy on my PS5 because I loved it so much! I am a really shitty player, my first playthrough was rough, now I'm on my NG+ 4, and played the patch, took me 3 days to get it done, but mind you, every time I played was for 3h max (can't spend more on it), if I don't count the new moves on the damn Venom Daoist and Bull Stalwart, it wasn't that bad at all, and normal Erlang was waaayyyy easier then in the base game, I could literally tank him with the build and not use the Plantin Fan and udual tactics and just slug it out, and the Stone Monkey and Great Sage were easier too. After the gauntlet I am still stuck on the Great Sage Broken Shell in the base game, as on the NG+ 4 he is crazy strong, does 2 shot kills, and my damage is on the minimum even with all the buffs on the Dark Iron Staff combined with Spellbinder... anoying to say the least.

You are doing very well for 150 (like what someone else pointed out). I am level 342 ng+5(don't know if that means anything for the challengesI think it does since it was always 2 shot) and for me I was able to get threw the first 3 no problem but then got to the hundred eyed Daoist, yaksha king, and Erlang. For me yaksha is the hardest boss for me but do not get me wrong erlang is not easy. But I would recommend is use the ring of fire instead of immobilize because it will help with healing and more focus. For drink i use the 50 year old one(do not remember what it is called but gives tones of healing)or old loong one so I get 4 soaks. I would also say use your cloud step more as defense to get out of bad situations to be able to get back and heal. O and last thing for erlang first phase stone monkey can almost stun lock him with his tap heavy button mid combo( requires 1 focus per hit there are 2) Great video and good luck :)

Having done most of the gauntlets, I believe the bosses are set to Great Sage Difficulty, from the 1v1 mode. One mode has difficulty options. The other one should as well. If I hit my head against a wall for the main game and am on NG+3, I earned an easy match or series of matches. Will the developers patch this? Most likely not. For me personally, the rewards are interesting, but definitely not interesting enough to warrant me hitting these walls. Again.
