Super good animations. Props to the Treyarch team. But who the fuck decided to have this gun be closed bolt man? It could’ve been perfect. Paying attention to its mechanics would’ve made it one of the most pleasing Guns in the game.

Yeah, apart from the design choices and people don’t give any credit to the animators, most of the reloads in this game are really good. A few in particular stand out (AK you disappoint me) but nearly every other one looks really good.

The reloading sounds are so meaty and metallic like, and the animations are really good, but the biggest issue is definitely the gun being CLOSED BOLT. Come on treyarch, you got it right the first time, no need to change when it’s correct for the first time.

Longstory short, the RAK is a strange open bolt firing PDW and whoever Treyarch hired to animate this gun didn't know how it was supposed to be done.

hardly anyone who played Cw or Warzone knows that it is a Polish submachine gun which was useless by Poles and was created sometime in 1963. The name "rak" refers to the fact that the user was pinched while shooting

I mean, RAK means cancer in both of its meanings. And that pretty much sums the gun nicely because it's not great in real life. Since both the Stechkin APS and the Vz.61 Škorpion (both being superior to PM-63) existed when this gun was adopted it makes you wonder why the Poles chose this piece of junk instead. A national pride could have cost some soldier his life in a potential conflict.

They got one job and they fucked it up. This machine pistol is supposed to be open-bolt, not close-bolt! I need zero Wikipedia to tell you how I know this when my grandpa brought 2 of these guns back to Vietnam from his peacekeeping trip in Cambodian, along with many other guns and ammunition. Insert one mag, push the gun into the enemy, pull the trigger, watch the action of the slide or the enemy killed in action!

A closed bolt convertion actually exists, though it is very complicated and requires a substantial modification of the gun's mechanism. I'm not defending it, it's really stupid that they chose this version of the gun for the game, just saying that it is definetely possible to have a closed bolt PM-63. Check Military Arms Channel - they have a video of the closed bolt version there.
