Okay, sorry. On another note, I heard Lupita nYongo was chosen to play the heroine in the film of Chimamanda Adichie's novel Americanah. Lupita is East African. Most people don't realize that Africa is so diverse that an African American actress would look more like a Nigerian than Lupita. African Americans and Caribbean blacks are descendants of West Africans and when you sequence the genome of any African American it's clear that they are overwhelmingly West African. Those who love seeing black-themed movies should at least also insist on authenticity. It's like when they got Paula Abdul to choreograph the dance at the beginning of Coming to America. They make a film about an African prince without bothering to go to learn anything about Africa. I don't know about other people but those women in the Black Panther trailers carrying spears only reinforce the idea that Africa is some primitive place. Most modern Africans have never seen a spear.

Edruezzi the movie is not about a real african prince though... its about a comic book version of a country that resembles an african country. So i dont get your point!! its an American film so obviously the main actor is African American.. since it was created by Americans... but obviously to show thr diversity of the african diaspora thry got diff actors who african from diaspora. Its a fantasy/action/scifi so you can do whatever and take diff aspects of african cultures they drew alot from soutbern africa but they also included varicious west african cultures' infleunces too.

Edruezzi Chimmanda wants Lupita to play Ifemulu though because shes passionaye about thay role!!! and she can act!! Just like there have been african american actors who have played african characters and some of them like forrest whitaker for example did a great job. New Zeanders play white americans all the time same with aussie ans British actors... and many American actors have played British characters. If you put int he work and actually do the correct accent then their should not beba problem. Lupita is more recognizable in Hollywood so the chances are if Americanag get made they want an actress who has a fanbase and can act ans is African atleast. There are talented Nigerian British and Ghanian-British actors who are getting into Hollywood so they there will be more west african actors playing roles from there culture
