The Secret Service said "Shooter is down" before they ever stood up with Trump, so that's probably why he felt he could give the crowd encouragement. If you listen close you can hear it.

When you have six people surrounding that close, you are going to move slowly. Especially when they have to navigate stairs, so there was no whisking him off stage. They also had to move the vehicle into position. As for his shoes, I’m gonna speculate but again you’ve got the group of six people that close to you, and their eyes are scanning for hazards in the crowd. If someone tripped over it, they fall forward into him and causes more confusion. Even just letting them know he lost a shoe could prevent that. But on a more serious and likely note, it was a code phrase. When I worked in a grocery store we knew that if someone announced that the district manager was in location, it meant a gunman had entered the store. When the District Manager came in, they announced that a bird had flown in through the door. It is entirely possible, if not probable, that “his shoes” was someone that was there that he wanted to make sure also got out. Baron wasn’t there, but you don’t want the mic picking up that there is still another target out there.

Even though the secret service does a lot im not quite sure how they even let this guy get shots off when people next to the building literally told law enforcement that there was a man crawling onto a roof with a gun so its a little suspicious that secret service wasnt notified, but Im glad Trump is okay and i pray for all the victim's families

However, on 3/30/1981 President Reagan was shot in the upper torso by John Hinckley as he exited the DC Hilton Hotel. Follow the attempt to assassinate him, he went on to end the Cold War with the Soviet Union and reunite East and West Germany. Regarding his shoes, I saw an interview with Trump where he said the Secret Service hit him so hard his shoes came off. He looked ticked to me, and was probably in shock too, hence "fighting" the Secret Service. There is no telling what was going through his head at that moment. His family, who were not there but were watching it unfold in real time on TV, were freaking out. He said in that same interview that Melania won't even talk about it. I can't imagine. I was talking to a friend of mine when it was going on and my first thought was, where did the bullets go, not knowing about the three in the audience who were hit. It was all so awful. And still is.

SS Agent said MOVE the CAT leader (counter assault team) whose job it is to stay and fight in case there are more shooters said NO. Cause his team wasn[t in place yet. Trumo was safe at that point under all the SS body armor. The SS job is to cover and evac. The CAT teams job is to provide fire cover if need and stay behind to get into a gunfight if needed.

I have a political/racial question...is this news, was it immediately shown in predominantly black towns cities Democrats run controlled mayors, etc., right away, all channels, continuously, or no? How were there dozens of people, in videos, on the ground by the building screaming out to cops, there's a guy on this roof! For 5 minutes , and none of them cops do a thing? Also, if u know anything about shooting, if someone shoots any scoped rifle with a target the size of a cup, within 150 yards, that's a made shot! Also, right before he's hit in the ear, he turns his head; a bit more parallel and in line with the shooter, as in a line parallel with the shooter, instead of perpendicular. If his head was in its original position, thats a hit. So if u dont think , that God's hand of protection isn't all over him, i got some land in New York city to sell u! Biden was elected, but put in place by Jesus to say, this man forgets his own name, as America has forgotten My name. But Trump knows me, and people openly pray for him, I'll be merciful to America, once more, even tho they make fun of me, specially my peace with the world, that i made a rainbow with, and Pride uses it on their flags.

I've tried to let this go, but I must circle back & suggest that your reaction to DJT not immediately submitting to the Secret Service trying to get him to safety was understandable but failed to consider the whole of what was happening. I personally believe there were 2 levels of action being carried out, one by the Secret Service & the other by Trump. It was the Secret Service' job to get him to safety BUT it was in Trump's heart to be brave, defiant & selfless by sending a message of comfort & strength to us, his loyal supporters, that he was not seriously injured & by no means was he going to surrender to the evil that was perpetrated on him! You got to remember that he was just shot, he didn't know how bad it was or if this could have been his last opportunity to ever speak again, if it was the last thing he could do he wanted to show strength for the people and remind them to fight. He could have dropped dead afterwards, i mean thank God he wasn't hurt worse, but in that moment no one really knew. Its like if you were put in a position where you may only have one chance to say anything to your family, your followers, everyone, would you take it? The left hates him and try every single thing to attack him and he survives. He doesn't need to be president, he's a billionaire, he could be doing anything else with his life. He chooses to fight for America, to endure what he does because he does believe he can help get the country back on track and fix things. I'm not a fan of his personality sometimes, he's arrogant and can come off as a jerk. BUT...I do agree with many of his policies and I appreciate him wanting to make our country better and prosperous again. The border crisis and inflation are just two of the things killing our country right now and if he can fix those and get our economy back on track so we can afford to thrive instead of just survive, then he's got my vote.
