I was there, a friend and I made our way to the very front just in time Sabbath. we stayed in the front until ELP was packed up and gone; I'm sure my hearing was damaged from Deep Purple but totally worth it!!

Watched all the videos today of the Jam. Today’s the 47th anniversary. I was there. We got there Friday night. We were center stage and the boom camera was off to our left as we looked at the stage. Stayed till the end. One great and fantastic day.

Back then promoters and managers took MOST of the money...Peter Grant, the manager of led zeppelin changed all that. He was a wrestler doing all the work and getting peanuts so when he managed zeppelin he told everybody, ( WHEN ZEPP WAS HIGHLY IN DEMAND) WERE TAKING THE LIONS SHARE THEN YOULL GET YOUR END,AND YOULL MAKE DECENT MONEY OR....WE WONT DO YOUR CONCERTS...PERIOD This gave the hard working artists what they DESERVED and the other support people made the right amount. Artists got screwed for years but after learning their TRUE net worth they were highly rewarded as it should be for rolling the dice and toiling over your instruments and bands direction to see if its what the people wanted. Juss sayin...fairs fair Do MOST of the work... GET most of the money.. Hope this clarify s the inquiry on your part. God bless
