Ya no kidding!! He can't hit a lot of high notes like he used to I noticed on the Ozzy solo tour, but he still has his lower pitched singing voice which fit in nicely on the Sabbath tour and he was for the most part pretty bang on with most of the Sabbath songs he sang.

@berni29056 жыл бұрын
I really don't understand what are you guys talking about. Just find bassists rankings on the Internet and he's very often in top 10.
@8RuTu56 жыл бұрын
Im pretty sure guys that are into playing bass and listen to heavy metal would most probably know who Geezer Butler is, I just think that for a casual heavy metal listener Geezer isnt a well known guy. Even if we are talking about Black Sabbath, Tonny and Ozzy get the most credit all the time, however that heavy, characteristic sound of Black Sabbath very often stems from that heavy bass of GB. Dunno if I made any sense, its just I have a feeling GB doesnt get enough credit...
@berni29056 жыл бұрын
Well, if you look at it this way, in general bass players obviously get much less recognition than guitarists or vocalists (maybe with some exceptions). And when it comes to Sabbath - Iommi is the core of the band so i wouldn't expect Bill or Geezer to get more credit than Tonny

Tony Iommi always blew me away. I have all my fingers and have a very limited guitar playing ability. Here's a guy that's missing parts of fingers, using prosthetic finger tips and still shredding the hell out of that guitar like it's all natural and producing his own signature sound that no one else in the world can re-produce because the prosthetic finger tips affect the tones of his strings in a different way than flesh and bone.

@budahbaba78562 жыл бұрын
Mivvy, i don't have a mom anymore, so my room has definitely fallen behind. But here is a word of advice if you are sharing a house. Since your room is already unkept, other people will start wanting to use it as a baggage spot. Tell them to fuck themselves. Realistically! Their baggage is not your problem. You do not owe them. Keep it yourself, as a response, or pre-response to their claims. In limited space, chances are you still may end up having to concede some, but fight for all you can get using responsibility. Make sure they keep knowing it is a favor you did. And favors have prices! In my past, i let all my family walk all over me because they were older and had "seniority" that they would abuse! Being lower on the structure does not mean it is okay to abuse you. Aaannnddd... i am talking a lot more than what you said in your post! But GL to you, and please let me know how that worked out :)
