The other half of the Wicked World Jam. This half has the "Sometimes I'm Happy" bit, the drum solo by Bill Ward, part of Supernaut, and the reprise. Enjoy!

Bill Ward is by far one of the greatest rock drummers ever. Nobody lays it down like him. The man can also swing and jazz it up.

Why Bill is so underrated? It baffles me. He has such an awesome feel, his fills are great and man he makes that band swing.

The Dio argue can go on forever. Dio's work with Sabbath was awesome, but Ozzy, Tony, Geezer and Bill are and will always be the four cornerstones of not only Black Sabbath, but Heavy Metal in general. Anything that came after this original and ground breaking line up was a bi-product of what these four gentlemen so fabulously created. What those four gentleman created was beyond perfection.

This really highlites the talent of everyone in the band. I know Ozzy isn't the greatest singer - but he was the perfect front man for Sabbath. But Butler, Iommi, and Ward are the driving force behind it - awesome musicians. I love how they switch to a jazz improv in pt 1. Although I love Dio - it was a different era for Sabbath - but the original lineup is who I like most.

@blacksabfan Sabotage is easily, front to back, one of the most mindblowing experiences of the 70s. Just listen to The Writ and Megalomania alone. Add in Hole In The Sky and Symptom of the Universe and you have yourself one of the 6 greatest rock/metal albums of all time. It's so good that Am I Insane, sort of original in its own right but out of place, can't bring it down.

I agree with you as well. It's the guitar riffs that make the songs. Even Iommi's solo output has a certain Sabbathesque quality. I don't hear the Sabbath sound in Ozzy's solo work, so I really don't think it's his voice that makes it.

iommi and butler connect paranormally which is their attraction (see interview of elevator on BS Story Vol1). Lyrics, riffs, rythyms, atmospheres are all in harmony. The Dio show (saw first tour) just didn't match up. All minds will 4ever envision Osbourne, Ward, Butler, Iommi. C# or gypsy tuning & R.Wagner will challenge the unsuspecting...

@dreamsandnightmarez I've heard some of it, And I don't like it. I never did really 'like' Dio. I didn't 'like' the idea of him replacing Ozzy. Now, I like some Dio, And I like some Ronnie WITH Sabbath. And it is on verey rare occasion, that you see me listen to Sabbath after the Ozzy era. So, Yeah. That's just my taste in music. If I don't like Dio, No one will make me like Dio. I'm just musically stubborn like that.

I disagree, considering Black Sabbath has survived longer with Dio than it did with Ozz. not to downplay him, all i'm saying is that the TRUE landmark of a Sabbath song is the Iommi riff.

@jackzabbaththeband Man Dio is Amazing! I agree I didn't really like the Dio years in Sabbath. They had a few good songs, like Heaven and Hell, but nothing like Original Sabbath with Ozzy. Dio had some excellent songs in his solo stuff and Rainbow. Not trying to force Dio down your throat or anything. Check these out: Rainbow in the Dark, Holy Diver, Evilution, Killing the Dragon, Man on the Silver Mountain. Those songs changed my view on Dio, maybe they'll change yours. If not... oh well! lol

@cma3585 I'd politely disagree. I could go into a long, detailed explanation why, but the fact you would say it's in a top 6 of all time list, when there's literally dozens of other bands that made at least one record better than Sabotage, sort of makes it kind of pointless.

Ritchie Blackmore toured here, & promised to everyone he was going to look at his show dates he was definitely adding Black Sabbath at every date he had w Ronnie James. At that time Dio said he will handle all the flyers to be mailed & would ship any lost items Ritchie had in personal band equipment Personally to my house if something happened to him this time he left last min to catch Deep Purple too, or from there - because he wasn't safe w/o Black Sabbath negative canotivity, & probably missed DP esp aftr they knew he quit, why bother to go n then leave half ur tour that was dedicated for this hook up? But, his nitemare kept getting worse the more he tried to act like Black Sabbath was unwelcomed, a tag, or a failure! It was kind of embarrassing not to get the warmth Deep Purple band members radiate, welcoming? Hadn't he known Ozzy, Tony & Ian were close, close buddies, n sure were barely puttin up w him, & that was barely cuz really he thought Ritchie was more professional n dedicated, than to just leave his friends in the dust, esp wn all three groups, 'no blondes' said cool if Ritchie leaves DP, only if he tours w Sabbath! That's what Ozzy said, that's what Ian, n that whole DP left standing heard, w Geeser, Bill, and Tony. Ronnie James agreed n the otr people were supposed to understand that, & I think that they did, w an excellent agreement for everyone. However, Dio said, "if he got lost, didn't write or call, & his stuff, albums, DDR, paperwork (which could hv personal info?, Dio keeps?) he, Dio, would pay for all postage on packaging & deliver all Ritchies belongings to my house! And, I understand there are only 4 people in Black Sabbath w a bunch of Rainbow albums, at this point. Is that correct? Ritchie, sorry to have missed u, bttr Black, next time.
